The Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter is designed for use with the Apple notebook. Connect the adapter to the Mini-DVI port of the computer and the VGA end of the adapter to an external VGA monitor or projector. You can use this cable in both video mirroring and extended desktop modes.
Why pay more? This is a outstanding product. It works great. And it looks amazing on my 27 LCD-HD TV. Note You may notice when you first plug it in you see nothing but your background. This is what you do: Go to System Preferences, go to Displays, then go to the second tab. Click on MIRROR DISPLAYS. I give this product a 10 out of 10.
